Jupiter 6/12/2005 2:45 UT.
6/12/2005. The seeing conditions where not as good as they could have been. What is interesting here is the shadow of Io on the disk of the planet. In the lower left quadrant is the reat Red Spot, in the upper right quandrant is the the shadow of Io. That is Io off to the right. Interestingly, Europa and Ganymede should be off to the left of the planet but both were being eclipsed by the shadow of Jupiter at the time. 8" SCT @ F/10.
